Thanks Giving Feast

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and to celebrate, I have spent the last two weeks brainstorming and cooking a smorgasbord of delectable delights. This seven-dish-meal comprises of my seven culinary wonders of the world. I have poured my heart into compiling a free e-book that has an easy to follow step-by-step preparation map, shopping lists, time frames, and of course recipes that will have your day running smooth as silk. As this is a starch-free, grain-free, refined sugar-free and lactose-free menu, you will not be feeling the heaviness or sleepiness that so often leaves dozing bodies draped over every soft surface of the family home. The day signifies a celebration and acknowledgement of the blessings of the harvest and of kindness. There are many things that I can align myself with, but perhaps above all is the appreciation for the ever-yielding, ever generous fruits of the earth. Whether it be Flora or Fauna, landscapes or seascapes, ‘Mother Earth’ (or whichever ethereal being, ideology or scripture you follow) is an ever bountiful goddess that never ceases to amaze and inspire me.

Although Thanksgiving may not be a World-Wide celebration, I don’t think geographical, political or historical locale should restrict upon the impetus of appreciation, celebration or kindness that engenders this holiday.

This is a time to be thankful for all that is around us, but also for ourselves; our beautiful bodies, minds and souls. For all the thought and care that is put into our relationships with others, we also must remember to be kind, respectful and appreciative of ourselves. We all have good days and bad days and that’s ok, that’s human. Reflection and introspection are the things that will help us learn and grow into the big strong turkeys we are, because we are all someone else’s special someone.

I am so thankful for the positive effects this diet has had on my life, and sincerely want this to be an achievable adventure for you all. This giveaway is to say ‘thankyou’, and to offer you an opportunity to access the information that is sometimes hard to acquire.
